My name is Sasha Gay Hendricks, and I'm an Educator turned Realtor. I was born on the Island of Jamaica and immigrated to the U.S in the late 90’s. I spent my young adult years living in New York City and migrated to South Florida in 2015, for the glorious weather and the lifestyle. I have gotten very familiar with a variety of communities by living in different areas in South Florida, which is essential in being a realtor.
As a graduate from Queens College, I have a Bachelors in English-Language Arts for secondary education with a minor in sociology. It has always been my passion to help people by serving the community in any way that I can, first through teaching, as a mentor to at-risk youth living in Broward County and now as a realtor. Although I love teaching, the business aspect of real estate really attracted me. I have always found real estate fascinating, from touring properties to transforming spaces.
My values are built on transparency, communication and dedication, which helps my clients find their new home. As a real estate agent, I utilize my skills as a teacher to understand the complex language of real estate easier and allow me to be more approachable. Educating my clients will increase trust and help to reduce many fears buyers and sellers feel during the real estate process. With the combination of my experiences in education and my extensive training in real estate, my clients will always win.
I am very grateful for the opportunities that this business and team has given me, and for everything that I am learning. I want to bring my clients satisfaction with each closing and help people find their dream homes. My goal is to become one of the top selling agents in the industry and to branch out to different avenues that this business has to offer. After all, they say teachers make the best realtors and for that reason, I will be flexible, personable, organized and dedicated to finding your dream home.
